Development of a System for the Evaluation of the Teaching Qualities of Anesthesiology Faculty

Conclusions: Our SETQ instruments provided reliable and valid results that could be used in formative support of anesthesiology faculty. This study went further than previous work to include the voice of the faculty to evaluate and encourage self-insight. The instruments are now available, do not require unachievable number of residents’ evaluations per faculty, and yield faculty feedback seen as useful in designing individual development tracks.
